Responsibilities include: Performing all aspects of laboratory operations including but not limited to: Specimen collection, quality control, and maintenance of the lab.
Maintains compliance with CAP, CLIA, and safety standards; performs phlebotomy and blood collection for outpatient and outpatient testing.
Performs routine and specialized antibody and antigen therapy, including blood, urine, and serum for testing and transfusion.
Follow safety procedures for the use of the following: Blood collection, body fluid analyzer, and forensic Toxicology.
Maintain inventory of reagents, supplies, and instrumentation for the laboratory and inspections. Provide technical assistance to the CAP, and JCAHO inspections.
Ensure that all testing procedures are performed in accordance with the forensic toxicology and lab operations (CAP), and the CLIA inspections.
