Performing quality control radiographic imaging, including but not limited to: MRI, CT scans, angiograms, catheter placements, drainages, chest tube insertions, peripheral arterial and venous catheters.
Sets up and operates the EKG machine, including the use of peripheral and central venous access, and endotracheal intubation, as well as the following IV lines.
Provide assistance to patients with casting, dialysis therapy, and EKGs. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Work closely with the physicians and nurses.
Proficient in performing EKGs, imaging, ECG, and documenting patient history, physical exam, and lab results.
Experience with GE and Siemens equipment including administration of contrast media, starting IV's, and administering contrast. Also, I was able to work independently and as a team.
Experience with GE Optima 64 slice CT scanner, and Siemens fluoroscopy units. Experience in the use of GE OEC and Phillips C-arms.
Experience with GE, Siemens, and Philips in the use of a mobile fluoroscopy unit. Proficient in the use of power injector and contrast administration.
Scanning inpatients, outpatients, and trauma patients, starting IVs, and supervision of the Radiologist. Proficient in starting IV's, start IV contrast, and reconstruct exams.
Perform radiographic examinations using the most appropriate protocols. Maintain accurate records of all patients. Complete all necessary paperwork and forms.
Experience with access, including the use of the Phillips, GE, and Siemens. Also performed all of the above mentioned procedures.
