Assisting nursing staff with patient care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning, documentation, and cleaning of patients. Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and Foley catheter insertion.
Assist in the rehabilitation of patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to, wound care, transportation, and catheter care.
Documentation of patient care, rehabilitation, and wound care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Provide direct patient care to patients in the outpatient setting.
Wound care, wound care, dressing changes, Foley catheter insertion, and post-operative rehabilitation. Documentation of all patients, including but not limited to: Vital signs, infection control, patient education.
Performing critical care, including monitoring and educating patients on the importance of life support. I have also been able to work in the emergency room.
Management of pain and pain patients, including wound care, feeding tubes, and other related equipment. Documents all activities and activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Documentation of patient care and safety in accordance with HIPPA guidelines. Report changes in patient's medical condition to the registered nurse.
Assisting with assessment of patients and discharge planning, and documenting in the patient's medical record. Also, and in compliance with the joint Commission.
Phlebotomy, medication reconciliation, and other healthcare duties as assigned. Adheres to policies and procedures. Maintains safe and clean working environment.
Assisting with patient care, including obtaining vital signs, and performing EKG's. Providing pre-op and post-op care.
